         <title><![CDATA[Bears in Mala Fatra under the control of the phototraps]]></title>

In the beginning of the October 2010 we started to monitor our biggest beast by phototraps. This is another form of collecting data. The first one was monitoring by voluntaries placed in the area. 


Monitoring area 
We can not arrange phototraps through whole area of Mala Fatra , as this is really large area. Because of this reason, only the small area at the side of Mala Fatra is under the control of ours phototraps.  In the future, we would like to buy more of them, so we can placed...]]></description>

This was the name of the meeting happening during the weekend October 8.-10. 2010.  On Friday evening, ten people interested in the life of the bears in Mala Fatra, came to the cottage called Fatranka. I believe that already during the Friday lecture and discussion most useful information was told. The participants got to know more about possibilities of investigation, including photo-traps and their usage.
